Reviews and Ratings <br />
Staying at this resort was a bit of a mixed bag for us. On one hand, the grounds are absolutely beautiful and well-maintained, making it a lovely place to relax. The service from Jürgen and Phoo was welcoming and attentive, which made us feel special. However, the accommodations didn’t quite meet our needs, especially with the layout of the family bungalow being less than ideal for our little one. Plus, the breakfast selections were a bit on the basic side for our tastes, and the location felt a little far from the areas we wanted to explore.
My stay was an enjoyable retreat with beautiful surroundings and ample amenities, making it a peaceful getaway. Jürgen and Phoo's hospitality made me feel right at home, although the location's distance from Chiang Mai was quite a challenge for day trips into the city. The breakfast was delightful, but I could have hoped for a bit more variety. Overall, a great value for a relaxing experience in a stunning garden setting.
This hotel is a beautiful and peaceful retreat nestled outside of Chiang Mai, perfect for relaxation. The bungalows are spacious and the grounds are stunningly maintained, but the distance from the city makes it difficult for those wanting to explore local activities. Dining could be improved, as it felt a bit basic for our preferences. Overall, it's a nice spot if you're looking for tranquility but not ideal if you want city access.
This resort is a beautiful getaway about 30 minutes outside of Chiang Mai, offering peace and tranquility amidst manicured grounds and inviting bungalows. Jeurgen, our host, was fantastic and went above and beyond with recommendations for activities and dining. However, the location is quite far from the city, making it tough to get around if you're looking for activities. Also, the breakfast could use a bit more variety.
My stay at Baan Chai Thung was a serene escape with beautiful surroundings and unique cottage accommodations. The individual cottages are spread around lovely ponds, creating a peaceful atmosphere. However, the layout of the family bungalow could be better for families with young children, and the breakfast options didn't meet my expectations. Overall, it offers great value for those seeking tranquility.
